A start of a new decade in Paula’s life

Evening folk, this post is actually for me a new decade. Have to be honest it feels pretty scary for many reasons not only am I facing the prospect of going into an age of thinking I will be be retiring somewhere at the end of this new era but more than that actually what am I retiring from physically in real terms.

Life for me has many facets and I cannot visualise what the months and years ahead are going to throw at me which is terrifying. I don't do change to well but life for us all in every day life in our Country and more so the whole World there is uncertainty facing everyone of us in whatever walk of life we face on a daily basis. Since the pandemic the changes have being dramatic throughout all our local communities and especially our environment and NHS. Nothing is normal from our government to every area of our country and many of these changes have not always being implemented in the way we had hoped or understand even five years later myself included.

Today I have sat down and thought of the emotional and mental challenges of my future and how am feeling very tired of continued inner battles I cannot express to people around me because how would they react let alone believe. My friends who know me well are fantastic and so supportive which I wouldn’t be around without their support and presence. Those who don't know what my life is really like it is like walking around with a continuous mask on, don't get me wrong I am not blaming them but the reality of my life experiences are sadly unbelievably true and that's the tragedy that is my life.
